The sustainable construction solutions and technology exhibition INTERMAT is taking place in Paris from 24th-27th April 2024 and all exhibitors are invited to make nominations across various categories for the INTERMAT 2024 Innovation Awards. The awards are designed to recognise innovative equipment, techniques, services or products across the construction industry. The winners will be announced on the first day of the show.

As well as Brian, the international judging panel comprises Michel Petitjean, Secretary General of the European Rental Association (ERA); Maria Moreno, International Director of the Association of Infrastructure Construction Companies and Concessionaires (SEOPAN); Alessio Rimoldi, Secretary General of the Federation of the European Precast Concrete Industry (BIBM); Massimiliano Ruggeri, Technical Director of Imamoter; Michele Levati, Director of Lombardini 22 Civil Engineering; and Heinz G. Rittmann, Managing Director of Deutscher Auslandsbau Verband.

The judging panel will assess entries for those where the product, service, equipment or technology is deemed to provide a breakthrough in the areas of cost savings, technical design and technology used, operation, usage and environmental protection, before selecting the shortlisted entries and finally deciding the winners across five categories and four special awards.

Brian Jones said:  “I am privileged and honoured to be invited as an international judge at the INTERMAT 2024 Innovation Awards featuring techniques and products that will contribute to the construction and the rental industry.

“Considering the enormous changes facing the rental industry in the future, I am looking forward to seeing at first hand the innovations being delivered by all the competitors in the five specialist areas to ensure success of these major transitions in the construction sector are truly embraced.”
