CITB Skills and Training Conference

CITB are holding a Skills and Training Conference titled ‘Constructing Skills’ which is taking place on 6th June 2024. The conference is being held at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and opens at 09:00 and the day closes at 15:00. CITB have also offered a stadium tour following the conference. The themes of the conference are proposed as follows:

• Business Essentials: Delve into HR best practices, prioritise health and safety, understand your business finances, and harness the power of marketing to win more business.
• Business Mastery: Stay up to date with in-depth discussions on the Building Safety Act and the Procurement Act, ensuring compliance and understanding how to effectively engage with clients strategically.
• Training Providers: Find out how our plans to build a provider network across GB could help your business to train and support more construction companies.

CITB have said that they have considered ways for the conference to be inclusive for those that may be overwhelmed by loud noises, bright lights or lots of people and there will be an area where they are able to interact with the sessions and watch via a live stream.
