Data Protection (GDPR 2018) Notice

By submitting either:

 - An application to become a Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) Member
 - By registering and attending a CPA event
 - Downloading CPA publications from our website
 - Other activities where we seek personal details

...you have given permission for the CPA to create and maintain records on you and your company which will be held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 and relevant UK legislation.

The CPA will not disseminate any data about you to third parties except where you have given us your permission or where the CPA is legally required to do so. This means for example that we will need to, on their request, pass information on to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs or other Governmental departments when and where necessary.

It will be your responsibility to inform us if the data we hold about you requires updating, for example, new contact details or business address.

The CPA will retain your personal records for as long as we are legally obliged to. After that time, the data will be erased or disposed of in a secure and safe manner.

You are entitled to request a copy of any data that the CPA holds on you, and/or that it is erased unless UK legislation requires it to be retained.
