CPA Looking Forward to Exhibiting at Plantworx

The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) is all set to exhibit at Plantworx, the UK’s dedicated working construction event, taking place from 6th - 8th June 2017 at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire.

Exhibiting on stand number E26, CPA Chief Executive Colin Wood and his team look forward to welcoming CPA members and visitors to the show.

Kevin Minton, Director of the CPA said: “Plantworx 2017 looks set to be bigger and better than ever and the team are looking forward to it. It is the prime opportunity to see construction plant in action in the UK this year and a great opportunity for us to interact with CPA members and show visitors. We are also hosting our Stars of the Future awards event for Plant Mechanic Apprentices at the show this year, presenting us with an excellent opportunity to acknowledge some of the industry’s most promising apprentices.”

The CPA is the leading trade association for construction plant hire in the UK and is the principal point of contact for all issues relating to the use of construction plant. Current activities developing new ‘Trailblazer’ apprenticeships for the sector, working with the CITB to improve grant aid for plant training, working with the HSE and industry to reduce risk from movement of plant, researching plant operator supply and demand, producing guidance on lifting using excavators, developing a voluntary inspection scheme for mobile cranes and producing guidance on safe pressure testing in the workshop.
